Biomass Plant Hebei, China - Case Study
The annual processing capacity of the plant is approximately 130,000 tons of agricultural biomass, including corn and straw. The biogas generated will be used as a substitute for natural gas for transportation and injected into the natural gas pipeline network.
The process residues generated by the plant will be used as fertilizers suitable for organic food production requirements. The first-stage treatment scale of the continuous dry anaerobic digestion process is about 130,000 tons / year, which is equivalent to 394 tons / day. The final product of the plant: purified biomethane, mainly used as transportation fuel and injected into the natural gas pipeline network, but also as organic fertilizer.
