AEM’s award winning test solutions TestPro CV100 and Network Service Assistant, are purpose-built to support the wider range of testing function, that the modern network infrastructure requires. Enterprise cabling systems are going through a paradigm shift with the proliferation of the modern smart building. In the past, the main functions of the cabling systems was to connect the computer and IP phones to the enterprise network backbone. A large portion of cabling infrastructure now caters to security cameras, wi-fi access points, HVAC, lighting, building security, and other internet of things (IoT) connected devices. The vast majority of these devices receive their power, in the form of Power over Ethernet (PoE), which is delivered through the same twisted-pair copper (single-pair or four-pair) that data communications are running over, and DC voltage over hybrid powered fiber, which is gaining traction.
