Delorean’s Engineering Division (formerly Biogass Renewables)

Delorean Corporation group began in 2014 with our Engineering Division, which was established as an engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contractor to build bioenergy plants in Australia and New Zealand. The company then established a division to retail energy for its completed projects. This Energy Retail Division has licences in both the Wholesale Electricity Market (WEM) and the National Electric Market (NEM). To complete the model, Delorean’s Infrastructure Division was created to develop and manage company owned bioenergy assets. This division reflects our strategic shift to in house development, construction, ownership and monetisation of renewable energy assets. Delorean Corporation has the inhouse capability to deliver bioenergy projects across the full lifecycle, from project conception to completion.

Rolling Out Bioenergy for Australia's Food, Resources and Waste Industry.

Biogass Renewables is a bioenergy enterprise taking the lead in bringing commercially viable anaerobic digestion plants to the Australian commercial, manufacturing and resources industries. Commerce and industry demands certainty, and we only focus on proven, mature technology which has been standardised through use in the Northern Hemisphere where anaerobic digestion is already widely integrated into industry.

Our first 2 megawatt capacity bioenergy plant has been commissioned for over 3 years at Richgro Garden Products at its principle metropolitan composting and manufacturing operations south of Perth in Western Australia. Richgro's plant is our visitable reference site for rollout of further plants in Australia.

Reduced Costs, Major New Revenues

We're about pragmatic, feet-on-the-ground, commercially viable plants with investment returns that stack up.

Using your organic waste, or feedstock we can source from elsewhere, your business can:
  • avoid transport costs and gate fees for waste disposal
  • avoid electricity costs (peak and off-peak)
  • avoid heating and gas costs
  • power vehicles and equipment with biogas
  • monetise valuable carbon credits under the Australian Government's Clean Energy Futures Scheme.
  • monetise surplus electricity fed into the grid.
  • generate biofertiliser for use onsite or for sale
