EUFORES is a European parliamentary network with Members from all major political groups in the European Parliament and in the national Parliaments of the EU Member States. EUFORES gathers expertise, advises on policy, disseminates up-to-date information to its members and promotes beneficial legislation (i.e. by several projects) in the fields of renewable energy and energy efficiency.

EUFORES was founded in 1995 as an independent non-profit organisation aiming at promoting renewable energy sources and energy efficiency in the European Union.

Our Mission
Promote renewable energy sources and energy efficiency in the European Union
We enhance the European policy-development process through the integration of members of national parliaments in the initial phases of the policy cycle (from implementation to agenda-setting and policy making).
EUFORES creates links between the parliamentary network and external partners where necessary and promising and creation of effective communication and cooperation channels (network-in and network-out).

A network committed to renewable energy and energy efficiency
EUFORES is supported by a variety of non-parliamentary members from the renewable energy and energy efficiency community – industry, scientific institutes, energy agencies and NGOs – all strongly committed to renewable energy and energy efficiency. EUFORES has developed a broad spectrum of activities in order to coordinate the exchange between its members. We organise a variety of events and platforms (Inter-Parliamentary Meetings, national parliamentary workshops, MEP roundtables with EU Commissioners and EU Council Presidencies, EP dinners, Advisory Committee meetings etc.). EUFORES also coordinates high level EU funded projects.
