FENECON GmbH

At FENECON, we pursue the clear vision of the 100% energy transition. We design our battery energy storage and energy management solutions to be sustainable so that a complete supply of renewable energy for electricity, heat and mobility is possible. The energy supply with renewable energies is not only necessary as a climate perspective, but also with regard to energy independence. Among battery energy storage manufacturers, FENECON is recognized as one of the technology and innovation leaders with particularly future-oriented system and energy management functions. With FENECON products you can use electrical energy for almost all sectors such as heating or cooling, mobility, production or living economically and climate friendly. The FENECON battery energy storage systems use the OpenEMS-based smart energy management system FEMS to enable grid-serving charging and discharging up to intelligent sector coupling of electricity, mobility and heat.

About Franz-Josef Feilmeier

Franz-Josef Feilmeier, second of three children, grew up in a home where respect for the environment played a major role.

The parental business, an agricultural warehouse offering GMO-free 'food for animals', is to be made energy self-sufficient with photovoltaic systems. Clean energy is just as important as clean food.

After studying technical business administration at the TH Deggendorf, spending half a year in China, where he already experiences e-mobility on a grand scale with electric buses in 2005, Franz-Josef moves on to his next professional stations: Diploma thesis on solar technology in Hamburg, construction of solar cell factories based in Konstanz and then building photovoltaic systems with friends back in Lower Bavaria.
