Frontline Waste

We design and build new waste recovery facilities, and help transform existing ones. OUR TECHNOLOGIES are sourced from around the world based on viability, reduced carbon footprint, system flexibility, and simplicity while never losing sight of economic considerations. They are mature and operational technologies re-engineered to meet our principles. We are a young US-based company with a flexible operating structure and a unique team of established professionals, whose combined set of skills allow us to address the complexity of waste management. Frontline Waste was established in 2018 in NYC after a few years in the making. It was started by Rob Steir meeting the inventors of the thermal conversion technology, and realizing its potential to advance decentralised waste conversion. A strong networker, Rob separately met Frank and Patricia and together they have conceived the company beyond waste conversion, incorporating design and management.

OUR VISION is to end the spillage of waste into the environment; to see cleaner oceans and air; to restore the climate equilibrium; and to contribute to sustainable development and better health. All this can be achieved by treating waste where it occurs, with small-scale, simple and affordable waste technologies as the ones we provide.

Always upon request, either by the community, the municipality or engaged stakeholders. We provide a roadmap to a waste-free community, engage with local authorities, come to an operation agreement and look for project funding.

We then design and build the low-carbon waste recovery facility and operate it for a period of 10 to 20 years. Thereafter, the facility is transferred to new owners.

Alternatively, we also provide the design of the facility and the waste conversion technologies separately.

The project is owned and run by a dedicated project company where all interests are represented and given equity. The project is executed to the highest level of responsibility, safety and by meeting all environmental standards. Our technologies are sourced from around the world based on viability, system flexibility and simplicity while never losing sight of economic considerations.
