The first VAS Group company was founded by the engineer Norbert Thurner in 1989. The name VAS continues to stand for innovation and entrepreneurship even to this day. We are a one-stop provider of solid fuel-fired plants for generating heat and electricity. We plan, build and maintain systems in the range of 2 to 30 MW for private, industrial and public-sector customers. The VAS Group currently consists of six companies, all of which are united by one common goal: to constantly offer our customers more. We are technology leaders in environmental, combustion and process technology. By being committed to continuous improvement and innovation across the whole spectrum of process technology, we have established ourselves as a reliable supplier of system components over the past 30 years. Our solutions range from filter technology, conveying technology, boiler technology and combustion technology all the way through to turnkey solid fuel combustion plants.
