Baroness Scotland Visits Durban Landfill Gas Plant

A visit by Baroness Scotland to the Durban Solid Waste Bisasar Road Energy Campus on the afternoon of 5^th March 2015 was arranged by the offices of the British Trade Commissioner.

In addition to Baroness Scotland, the British High Commissioner Judith Macgregor, the British Trade Commissioner Andrew Henderson, Anita Hughes from United Kingdom Trade & Industry in London and Robert Fitzpatrick of The Foreign & Commonwealth Office attended the briefing meeting with Ray Lombard of Clarke Energy’s South African operations.

Great insight was shown by the British Team in the questions that they asked about the project and the potential solutions to the power constraints being experienced in South Africa at this time.
