Bio Accelerator - Model S - Biomass Impact Reactor
From Bio Accelerator - Biomass Impact Reactor
The BIOaccelerator is an Extruder consisting of two juxtaposed, intermeshing screws which exert a thermal-mechanical stress. The use of the input substrate is optimized through defibration in order to achieve a higher biogas yield.

BIOaccelerators - Also suitable for substrates that include a few foreign particles, such as:
- Silage corn, GPS
- Silage corn stalks, cereal straw
- Separated manure, dung
- Green waste, grass clippings
Function
The BIOaccelerators destroys the cell structure by splitting and breaking up the input material thermo-mechanically, enabling a more efficient degradation process in the fermenter. The raw material from the acceptance dispenser (feeder) reaches the extruder through a cross conveyor belt with a metal detector.
By using the BIOaccelerators, the most varied substrates can be used in the biogas plants. By breaking up the cell structure of the input material and the associated increase in the target area for the bacteria, even difficulty fermentable materials can be utilized in biogas power plants. This means increased flexibility when selecting input substrates and also enables the operator to use inexpensive, seasonal products.
