DC-DC converters can be used to increase or decrease the voltage, in order to powers electrical and electronic equipments. With a galvanic isolation between input and output, DC/DC converters are available in 12, 24 and 48V. They can operate as a battery charger: the charging voltage is adjustable by external potentiometer. Finally, there may be up to 3 converters in parallel to increase the available power.
