The example shown uses SSS Clutches to connect two FT8 gas turbines (27MW each at 3000rpm) to a single generator allowing power generation even when one GT is shutdown for maintenance. SSS Clutches have already been supplied for dual driven generators with turbines between 500kW and 300MW nominal power.
