The HeatBooster is a flexible high-temperature heat pump designed by Heaten Germany GmbH, catering to industries that require efficient and eco-friendly heating solutions. Intended to replace traditional oil, gas, and coal boilers, the HeatBooster can provide output temperatures ranging from 1-8 MWth and can achieve temperatures up to an unprecedented 200°C. It is engineered to directly supply steam up to 12 bar and boasts a robust design with low maintenance and a service life exceeding 20 years. With a compact form factor, it can fit 1.5 MWth into a 20ft container, making it ideal for various industrial applications. The HeatBooster features a high Lorenz coefficient of performance (COP), even under different load conditions, and is capable of part load operation down to 20% of its nominal power while maintaining high efficiency. Additionally, the device supports working fluids with a very low Global Warming Potential (GWP), making it an environmentally responsible choice. The technology platform is adaptable, compatible with a variety of working fluids, and can achieve COP values greater than 50% of the Carnot limit, especially effective in applications with significant temperature differentials.

The HeatBooster

To serve the international requirements for a drastic reduction in global COemissions over the next years, Heaten is developing a range of 1-8 MWth industrial very high temperature heat pumps, which can be used to replace traditional oil, gas and coal boilers that are commonly used within many industries.

The HeatBooster is now one out of a very few heat pump technologies that can provide output temperatures in the range above 100 °C, and likely the only technology that can provide an output temperature all the way up to 200 °C.
