Jeffrey Rader - Model CBR - Cone Bottom Reclaimer
From Storage & Reclaim
Reclaim material from storage bins that have cone-shaped bottoms with the Cone Bottom Reclaimer (CBR). Engineered for long service life and ease of maintenance. The CBR has been engineered to operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The unit is constructed of simple but rugged materials. The CBR design eliminates large rotating bearings and power slip rings typically used on other units. The reclaiming screw, bearings and drives can all be maintained and/or removed from outside of the bin and are of a standard off-the-shelf design. In today’s environment with lean operations, you need a device that is reliable and low maintenance.

Advantages of the Jeffrey Rader Cone Bottom Reclaimer (CBR)
The CBR uses simple technology to make a difficult application reliable, durable and simple to operate and maintain. When located in the cone of a bin, gravity assists in moving the material towards the outlet along the cone sides.
A variable-speed drive and special center discharge tube maintains a precise reclaim rate without allowing material to free flow. Because of the angled screw design, the CBR also uses less horsepower than typical flat bottom bin reclaimers. The slewing drive mechanism utilizes a torque motor and chain drive arrangement. The torque motor provides even and consistent movement of the reclaiming screw through the material, ensuring that the reclaiming screw is always reclaiming material at its highest efficiency, while not overburdening the screw with material or stress when it encounters more dense areas of material.
Long screw life
While the Jeffrey Rader reclaiming screw is much easier to maintain than any other bin reclaiming device, it also employs the lastest in technology for ensuring the reclaiming screw will last a long time without repair or replacement.
Using alloy materials for its construction in conjunction with the best in coatings available on the market today, our reclaiming screw will provide long life, minimizing maintenance requirements of the unit. Reclaiming from a storage bin in recent times has been done with a circular screw in a flat bottom bin. Jeffrey Rader Corporation has brought back the ability to reclaim materials from a storage bin with a cone bottom and with many new improvements. The Cone Bottom Reclaimer (CBR) from Jeffrey Rader is quickly becoming an industry preference when it comes to extracting materials out of storage bins with cone bottoms.
