High precision fuel consumption measurement and visualization. For many years now KRAL has been known as a manufacturer of high precision fuel consumption measurement systems. Former systems could not process GPS data, speed and engine specific data. The newly developed KRAL electronics series BEM 800 which was initially introduced at the SMM 2010 closes this gap.
BEM 800 FCM - Fuel Consumption Per Distance
The KRAL electronics BEM 800 FCM bridges the gap between fuel consumption measurement and advanced visualization. The system integrates the highly accurate KRAL Volumeter, BEM 500 electronics, onboard GPS data and speed for a precise evaluation of the fuel usage per hour and distance. BEM 800 FCM is available with a 15 ' or 8' display. The system includes a number of analytical and statistical tools. It is clearly structured and characterized by easy and intuitive operation. The BEM 800 FCM has a data storage capacity for one year of data logging. Multiple analysis templates are integrated into this new product to show the history of recorded events and voyage based statistics. Recorded data and results can be transferred via USB and e-mail. Even multi engine systems can be visualized on one screen. The excellent visualization and diagnostic functions help to save fuel and ensure optimum operation of the engines.
BEM 820 ADV - Advanced Fuel Consumption Monitoring And Diagnostic System
Operators of marine diesel engines want to know the fuel consumption and the specific fuel oil consumption (SFC) at different engine loads. The SFC is given in g/kWh. To check the specific fuel oil consumption, the operator needs the precise value of the fuel mass flow rate. KRAL fuel consumption measurement indicates mass or volume values with extreme precision. The operator determines the power of the engine via measurement of the speed and the torque on the drive shaft itself. BEM 820 ADV is able to process the torque and rotation speed and calculate with the fuel consumption the SFC. The 15' or 8' display shows measurement results either numerically or graphically. BEM 840 EKW - Power Generation Monitoring System

The system visualizes fuel consumption, generated power and SFC on one single screen. BEM 810 RD - Remote Display
KRAL electronics BEM 810 RD is a remote display that receives fuel consumption measurements from the KRAL BEM 500 electronics and BEM 800 series. The BEM 810 RD displays the data on a large dimmable screen. As an option BEM 810 RD can integrate GPS data to display fuel consumption per distance. The usability of BEM 810 RD is simple. One button provides the ability to dim the display. The second button is used to select the required information.
BEM 830 BKR - Bunkering Monitoring System.
Ship operators want to double check the amount of bunkered fuel. KRAL electronics BEM 830 BKR integrates the KRAL Volumeter and BEM 500 for bunkering applications. The bunker fuel quantity can be preset. The bunkering time remaining is visualized by the system. BEM 830 BKR also offers the opportunity to print a receipt of the bunkering data. Recorded data and results can easily be transferred via USB and e-mail.
