Model RD Series - Superior Biogas Contaminant Removal System
From Landfill Gas Dryers / Digester Gas Dryers / Biogas Dryers
Gas is treated and filtered by a scrubber before compression, which raises its temperature, and lowers its relative humidity. Compressed gas flows thru Moisture Evaporator and After-Cooler, where gas is cooled to near ambient temperature.

From After-Cooler gas flows thru Gas-Gas Heat Exch...
From After-Cooler gas flows thru Gas-Gas Heat Exchanger (Economizer) and Gas to Refrigerant / Glycol Heat Exchanger, where its temperature is lowered down to 40oF (4oC). Cooling of gas condenses vapors, which are separated and removed in Cold Coalescing filter for maximum separation.
Cold gas then flows thru Gas-Gas Heat Exchanger, where it's re-heated to 70oF to 90oF (21oC to 32oC), as it pre-cools incoming gas. System includes a Back Pressure Regulator to control gas flow & pressure at system outlet, and return excess gas to a storage/ flare.
