Radscan - Flue Gas Condensation System
Flue gas condensation is historically Radscan's strongest business with more than 50 unique projects in the reference list. The basis of the technology is a wet fuel (typically biomass or waste) and a low grade heat recipient (typically district heating). In conventional plants the moisture in the fuel is vaporized prior to combustion of the fuel, which is an energy loss.
Product Details
Our technology can recover part of these losses to the district heating network. Typically the energy recovery will increase the total plant capacity by about 25%!, which provides great savings in terms of reduced fuel consumption and also provides significant environmental benefits. Carbon dioxide emissions are reduced by reducing fuel consumption while flue gas leaving the plant are cleaned in the process.
