The MD-250-E is a medical grade isolation power transformer designed with extensive safety and reliability features suitable for medical applications. Operating at a frequency of 50 to 60 Hz, it has an impressive capacity to handle up to 250 VA of power. It features an input voltage range of 120 to 240 V with a tolerance of ±10%, ensuring versatile usage in various settings. The transformer includes robust electrical isolation with a high-potential (Hi-Pot) input to output voltage rating of 3000 V and a ground rating of 1500 V. With an efficiency of 92% at full load, it operates in ambient temperatures not exceeding 60ºC. The leakage current is maintained below 50 µA to comply with medical safety standards. Constructed with a steel powder-coated enclosure, it also provides certified compliance to UL 60601-1 and CSA-C22.2 medical standards. The design includes rubber feet for horizontal mounting and comes equipped with a 11 ft medical grade power cord and duplex receptacle for user convenience.

Details

These medical grade isolation boxes are built using a toroidal transformer construction that inherently helps reduce stray fields, increases efficiency and minimizes size compared to traditional EI transformers. Built with Class F (155º) insulation system. The enclosure is made of steel and powder coated white.
