Cleaning Services
With our cleaning tips you will be able to cleaning your photovoltaic and solar power system quickly, efficiently and cost-effectively. The basis for this type of cleaning is always a LVE cleaning system.
Details:
- Use demineralised water. By doing so you will avoid irreversible limescale staining and the use of cleaning agents. The desalinated water is 'empty' and so absorbs dirt very readily. All our LVE cleaning systems produce demineralised water for optimum cleaning.
- Soften up the dirt on your photovoltaic system or solar power system. That will make your job much easier. Just as with doing the washing-up, you will need a lot less time and effort if you soften up the dirt prior to the actual cleaning process.
- Work from top to bottom. This will prevent dirty water flowing over parts that have already been cleaned. And it also means that you will already be pre-rinsing and pre-cleaning the lower areas of your photovoltaic and solar power system.
- Use special soft brushes. Hard cleaning utensils can damage your PV module surfaces. So only use soft brushes and cleaning utensils. A special brush is INCLUDED with your purchase of a telescopic rod.
- Use a telescopic rod with integrated water supply. A telescopic rod has several advantages - it is not necessary to step on the modules, thereby avoiding any risk to yourself and to your system. Depending on the building and installation location, it may be possible to actually clean the system from ground-level or from a skylight/dormer window. Another great advantage of the telescopic rod is that it doesn’t conduct any electrical current. So you are protected from a possible electrical shock during cleaning (e.g. defective cable caused by rodent bite). Take a look at our range of telescopic rods.
