Energy Efficiency Services
From Energy Solutions
Energy efficiency isn’t about giving things up. It’s about doing things better, and doing more with less energy. It’s the genius of innovation—the use of technology that requires less energy to perform the same function. Many current technologies use more energy than they should. Smarter and more efficient choices are becoming available for everything that consumes energy—lighting, pumps, chillers, fans, motors, cooling coils, etc. Using untapped efficiency is the single most effective step energy and energy market regulators can take to reduce environmental pollution, power costs, and price volatility.

WESTON provides comprehensive energy management and technical services to our industrial, government agency, and utility clients. This work has included conducting energy audits; completing compliance audits; and providing recommendations for upgrades to our clients’ systems and processes. We employ our expertise and the latest technologies to help our clients as they strive for more-efficient facilities and processes in today’s energy-conscious environment.
Project examples:
City of Detroit - Providing support to the Energy Task Force, composed of representatives from various governmental agencies, through development of a baseline for current energy usage and expenditures, development of commodity procurement strategies, and focused energy management consulting.
Air Force Medical Service - Performed energy conservation assessments of medical facilities. Inspected mechanical systems and compared current facility use to original design specifications, identified energy deficiencies, identified Energy Conservation Projects (ECPs) and Energy Conservation Measures (ECMs), and determined eligibility for Energy Star certification, and provided a report of findings, conclusions, and recommendations.
NASA - Performed a variety of energy management studies at facilities throughout the country during the course of this 4-year project. Projects included energy audits, conservation analyses, and cost studies. Identified energy conservation options and recommendations, including operational improvements and technological modifications to reduce energy consumption.
