In order to efficiently conduct our research and development, one of the most advanced test facilities for biomass fuel is located at our Weissenbach site. The test facility simulates every possible kind of customers’ requirements (as for example full/partial load behaviours, change speeds for load changes). The construction of its own test facility in 2009 marked another milestone on Polytechnik’s way to become the industry’s technological leader. The facility is prototypical for the design of the complete range of Polytechnik boiler plants within the performance range from 500 kW to 30 MW.
